Metakosmos®, a space technology startup based in Sydney, has secured $2 million in Pre-Seed funding from a Saudi Arabian technology group, Alzadhar Al-Sanai. Specialising in developing innovative solutions and extreme environment suits for human spaceflight, Metakosmos aims to accelerate the delivery of key milestones that could revolutionise human space flight. This investment will facilitate the scaling of their Kosmosuit platform—comprising hardware, software, and services—currently in development. Alzadhar Al-Sanai, recognised for its expertise in extreme environment monitoring platforms, supports Metakosmos in expanding its global market presence, including in emerging space economies. Metakosmos raises $2m for spacesuit development 
Space technology start up Metakosmos has announced the successful raising of a $2 Million Pre-Seed funding round from Saudi Arabian engineering services company Al-Sanai.
Al-Sanai partnered with Metakosmos earlier this year, with the new round of funding helping to accelerate the delivery of milestones in the development of its Kosmosuit.
Kosmosuit is a modular suit system combining advanced textiles, software and telemetry for use in extreme space conditions.

The Australia New Zealand Biobridge is a 10-year agreement established between the Liverpool Innovation Precinct and the New Zealand #Consortium_for_Medical_Device_Technologies, which connects the two country's medtech sectors. Thanks to the generosity of the New Zealand Government's Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, each year for the past 3 years an Australian delegation of researchers and startups has been funded to attend the annual Te Titoki Mataora, the Medtech Research Translator Forum as part of HealthTech Week. This year Misti was selected to join Contactile and Metakosmos®, both from NSW, as well as key representatives from the #Monash_Technology_Precinct (VIC, Australia) as the 2024 Australian delegation.

Major objectives of the Biobridge include fostering connections and collaboration across the Tasman to help advance the medical technology sector in both countries, increasing our collective global competitiveness and raising awareness of the economic contribution the sector makes to each country.
