Avondale Ag - the winning bidders of our 30 Millionth Bale, ginning and classing package in last weeks Cotton Conference auction. $14,500 raised for charity Angel Flight Australia . Our relationship with Avondale Ag stretches as far back as the late 70's when the Harris Family started growing cotton. Originally they carted their picked cotton to Myall Vale and Merah North gins, and ending up at Moomin Gin when it opened in 1985. Since 1962 we have been at the forefront of the Australian cotton industry, playing a pivotal role in transforming raw cotton into a valuable commodity that sustains livelihoods and drives economic prosperity. Since 1962 we have ginned 30 million bales plus. The significance of ginning our 30 millionth bale extends far beyond numbers. We have consistently given back to Australia's cotton communities through relationships and collaborations with industry and its partners, local charities, sporting teams, schools, events and the like. In the spirit of giving back, our 30 millionth bale is being auctioned at the 2024 Australian Cotton Conference along with a ginning and classing package worth $8,000 to raise money for Angel Flight.
