The Mining segment engages in the mine management, contract mining, load and haul, dragline, drill and blast, and coal handling preparation plant operations; maintenance activities; and fabrication of water and service vehicles. The Minerals, Energy & Technologies segment provides materials handling, onsite maintenance, and shutdown services; industrial engineering and fabrication services; and engineering, procurement, and construction services. It also provides heat treatment services, as well as mining equipment solutions. The company was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Belmont, Australia.

The MSA has a total value of approximately $1.6B over a 5-year term commencing in January 2026 and provides employment to approximately 650 personnel mostly residing within the region. We are pleased to announce that NRW Civil & Mining has been awarded a development contract for BHP at the Jimblebar mine in the East Pilbara. The scope of the contract includes various civil, building, mechanical and electrical works to support sustainable production at Jimblebar. The contract is valued at approximately $109 million and will commence in November 2024. The project is scheduled for completion in Q2 2026 and will employ a team of up to 120 personnel and 55 items of plant and equipment. We are pleased to announce that NRW has been awarded a contract by Evolution Mining (Mungari) Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Evolution Mining Limited (ASX:EVN), for surface mining at Castle Hill. The works to be performed include load and haul, drill and blast and construction of site supporting facilities. The drill and blast component will be undertaken by Action Drill & Blast , a subsidiary of NRW Holdings Limited. The anticipated value of the contract is circa $360 million commencing November 2024 and expected to be completed by mid-2030. The project will average 150 personnel. We’re very excited to share that Ian Prior has now joined our team as HSE Advisor! He’s kicked off his new career with a bang, starting with our NRW Civil & Mining team at Karara. “I’ve enjoyed getting into the workings of site life and how all the departments work together and are interconnected.
