When councils and AI work together, houses can be approved faster. 

Through our Early Adopter Grant Program, 16 councils will share in $2.7 million to integrate AI technology into their planning systems. This program will help speed up approvals and make planning easier, helping more people in NSW achieve home ownership.

Let's make a big impact by reducing and recycling our plastics properly this Plastic Free July 🐢

Earlier this year, the team at Taronga Conservation Society Australia released Tama the turtle back into the wild. He spent 18 months in care at the Taronga Wildlife Hospital after being found with a stomach full of plastic as a hatchling.

Their hospitals treat over 1,500 native wildlife cases each year, with many of these cases due to plastic ingestion. It's estimated that 33% of turtles have ingested plastics in their lifetime.

Look who's just about to get long service leave! 👀

We've passed new laws to grant 250,000 community service workers access to long service leave. Under these changes, casual workers in this field can get 6 weeks of paid leave after 7 years across the industry, not just with one employer. 👏
