Marie-Julie is our newest design talent, joining us after completing a 9-month internship while finishing her studies in Industrial Engineering at the University of Hasselt, Belgium. She will help us push boundaries, and we can’t wait to see the magic she creates! Valérie C. - Director of Sales & Marketing A results-driven, multilingual professional with a solid 21-year background in the entertainment and technical events industry, Valérie will lead our sales and marketing initiatives, fuel expansion, strengthen customer relationships, and leverage her expertise in brand strategy for PWL. Stefan van Bilsen - Operations Director With over 20 years of hands-on experience in logistics and event management, Stefan brings a wealth of expertise from the live entertainment world. Wannes De Wit - General Manager, Middle East We are thrilled to welcome Wannes as our General Manager for the Middle-East regional headquarters in Riyadh! #Throwback to June, we began preparations for the #POMJaarevent , an annual gathering for stakeholders and partners, culminating in an exciting collaboration in September. Our team focused on custom #3D content creation, drawing inspiration from a concise script provided by event director Stefan Vanbergen . This project allowed our teammate Dennis to fully unleash his creative potential for this #projectionmapping , resulting in captivating visual content tailored for the event. Beyond content creation, PWL also managed the entire technical production process and executed the full mapping and playout before and during the event, guaranteeing a seamless experience for all attendees. From precise projector calculations, based on meticulous measurements of the event venue to constructing a 3D model of the space, we designed the content and fine-tuned projector angles, luminance, and lenses, ensuring optimal visual impact. Who says holograms are anything less than cutting-edge? Our very own #PWLHoloframe is featuring a stunning 3D avatar of Albert Einstein, showcasing the future of immersive experiences. PWL supplied the #Holoframe to White Light NV who managed the complete design and installation of the temporary Expo for the #EinsteinTelescope , which opened on October 2nd at the Limburg manufacturing campus, FacThory, organized by POM Limburg . Albert Einstein's 3D avatar was created by Scanbie . It serves as the visitors' first point of contact upon entering, offering a warm welcome to visitors. The expo will introduce companies and students to what is set to be Europe’s most advanced observatory for gravitational waves, allowing researchers to hear black hole collisions and investigate the early universe. It will be open to the public on November 3rd, 10th, and 17th, as part of the Stad Genk 's open Sundays.
