The BARDA VITAL Global Health Security Symposium was a fantastic event, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in pandemic preparedness and response, including speakers from institutions such as World Health Organization, SPRIND - Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen, Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) and European Health Emergency Response Authority. 

We are grateful for the opportunity to spend time at Berlin Institute of Health at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin at the Rahel Hirsch Center. Our CEO and Co-Founder Miroslav Gasparek  talked about our work on building cell-based mRNA platform to enable the future mRNA medicines for major Slovak newspaper, Dennik SME.

We are glad we could discuss how our bioengineering team led by  Marian Kupculak engineers cells to make best-in-class mRNA molecules, while expanding the scale and reducing the cost of mRNA manufacturing. Our objective is to enable the next-generation of mRNA medicines, while becoming one of the pillar of global biosecurity infrastructure. 

Miro also discussed early-stage fundraising for an early-stage biotech startup, the investor diligence Sensible had to go through, our partnership with Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., and building global biotech company with presence in the US, UK, and Slovakia

We still have a long way to go - but we will do all we can to bring high-quality mRNA to many patients across the globe.
