Na semana passada, tive a honra de encerrar o dia de palestras do #eAgro , um dos principais eventos agropecuários do país, realizado em Salvador. Minha apresentação trouxe um tema que considero essencial para o futuro do campo e das próximas gerações: #AgriculturaSustentável . Abordei como as abelhas, além de serem agentes essenciais para a biodiversidade, podem ser protagonistas em práticas agrícolas mais produtivas e sustentáveis. O trabalho da Bee2Be , nesse contexto, tem mostrado que é possível integrar o cuidado com o meio ambiente, o desenvolvimento social das comunidades e a geração de valor econômico, formando um tripé sustentável que beneficia todos os elos da cadeia. Bee2Be had the privilege of joining re.green at one of their reforestation project sites during the Organic Festival, an event organized by Conservação Internacional in Trancoso. We shared how our work together this year is spreading the knowledge of native bees and creating economic opportunities for nearby communities. Highlights included: 🌿Native bee box installations to drive sustainable income 🍯Teaching communities about honey production & other ways to use bee byproducts from their hives 🤝Workshops led by Bee2Be, fostering environmental and economic benefits We were honored to be in the company of representatives from climate projects and conservation groups like Conservação Internacional (CI-Brasil) and other key figures dedicated to Brazil’s environmental future. 🌳💚 A special thanks to Miguel A. This month, Bee2Be had the pleasure of hosting an amazing event with EDP Brasil , where we introduced 80 of their employees to the incredible world of bees! Our Co-Founder, @vitorlopesdacosta, gave a special presentation on #BeHiveMinded , and we showcased a sustainable pop-up shop featuring products from our incredible partners like Miss Croc. We also had the chance to witness bees in action in a live hive and taste some delicious honey! 🍯 This event marks the beginning of something special – the inauguration of our EDP meliponary in Roseira, near São Paulo.
