Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is the federal department responsible for immigration and refugee affairs in Canada. It facilitates the arrival of immigrants, provides protection to refugees, and offers programming to help newcomers settle in Canada. IRCC also grants citizenship, issues travel documents to Canadians, and promotes multiculturalism.
