Further to our funding news last week, we’re pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Gunter to our board of Advisors. Tom brings with him a wealth of experience in the CPG industry with past appointments such as the president of ConAgra Foods, leadership roles at Pepsico/Frito-Lay, and Molson Coors, to name a few. His vision is to support the ever-changing grocery landscape through mentorship, advisory and governance, with a focus on growth and development. His work with CarbonOne will help our industry further the important conversation around sustainability and carbon reduction. With his support and advocacy, we can aid the grocery industry in Canada and the many CPG brands that make it up, in education on carbon reporting best practices and practical and effective methods for reducing carbon emissions across Scope 1,2 and 3.
