Our team is pleased to announce two new partnerships to secure our supply chain when it comes to the production of semiconductors, with C2MI and NY CREATES . Today's announcement comes following the 2nd formal gathering of the Northeast Semiconductor Manufacturing Corridor. Our Julien Camirand Lemyre and Michel Pioro-Ladrière both had the opportunity to address the crowd, which had gathered from across Quebec, New York, Ontario, Vermont and even as far as Los Angeles. Securing industrial-grade production capacity is a key step for our business. To do so with local partners removes a potential dependency on overseas suppliers. We believe this strategy is in line with the plans of the Canadian and U.S. governments, which put the corridor initiative into motion last year. This is exciting time in quantum computing as more quantum hardware platforms are progressing toward fault-tolerance. This week, Google Quantum AI team demonstrated quantum error correction below the surface code threshold. This is further evidence that quantum error correction is achievable, and will be an important foundational element in achieving fault-tolerant quantum computing. Each day, we at Nord Quantique are working towards this objective, by devoting the entirety of our resources to scaling our quantum error correction technology to new heights.
