As a new 2X Global member, we were pleased to attend the 2X Global summit last week. Ammara Shirazi connected with dozen of gender lens investors from around the world and left the summit inspired and energized, pleased that gender lens investing continues to grow, helping to reduce systemic barriers faced by women. At the same time, she was reminded it's still the case that despite power, knowledge and experience, female entrepreneurs face big barriers accessing capital, and still need to 'make the business case' for investing in women. The work of 2X Global, and GLI investors like us, remains crucial.

Lots of smiles this week as we launched a program for SFIs in the Social Finance Fund (SFF). “Impact Measurement & Management for the Social Finance Fund” is being led by Impact Frontiers , in partnership with us and Common Approach to Impact Measurement . It aims to enhance SFIs’ ability to incorporate impact decisions into financial decision-making, to measure impact and to manage portfolios for greatest impact. This cohort program (with two new cohorts a year for five years) is part of a broader program of support we are leading to strengthen impact measurement in the social finance market. We're offering these supports to all SFIs that have received investment through SFF, from any of the three SFF fund-of-funds managers. Please welcome the first cohort!
