💬 The role of the Transaction Management department is to ensure the daily monitoring and smooth handling of the bank’s financed transactions in commodity trading. Whilst serving our clients and driving the business, the Transaction Manager safeguards that the granted financing conditions are duly fulfilled and that the bank’s interests are protected at all times. The assessment and mitigation of risks - whether operational, credit or compliance - constitute the real cornerstone of our activity.

[Patron of the Arts 🎨] Arab Bank Switzerland is a proud patron of {Σ LUMINA} by { Agoria }, a groundbreaking sculpture merging physical and digital art to be presented at the Musée d'Orsay during his carte blanche {Le Code d’Orsay} from February 13th to March 10th! 

A bridge between the Museum’s collection and Agoria’s digital artistry, the piece, will allow visitors to actively shape digital masterpieces by breathing life into them, revealing QR codes leading to unique, evolving artworks. These NFTs, will be saved on the blockchain through live minting. A poetic, fun, and tech-first experience.

This week, Arab Bank Switzerland is in #Davos 🇨🇭, with Romain Braud, Head of Digital Assets, who spoke yesterday in a panel titled "Institutions and DeFi in 2024 – The Road Ahead". 

The discussion explored the future of decentralized finance and its intersection with traditional institutions.

💬 As Romain Braud summarized in his concluding remarks: "All financial assets will be tokenized once global regulations and crypto infrastructures are ready to support billions of transactions. Institutions will become a combination of very specific white gloves services, while most of the standard services will be on-chain (e.g. trading, lending)."
