2nd internal Food Safety Day at Eisberg Austria After last year's great success, we are going for a grand extension this year: our 2nd Food Safety Day is already in full swing. More than 600 employees will attend exciting training sessions on food safety at interactive stations throughout the day. The goal of our 25-person training team from the quality management department is both simple and difficult at the same time: to create even more awareness of food safety. In a competition, colleagues can put their newly acquired knowledge to the test and win attractive prizes. Before heading back to their workplaces, there is street food from the food truck, specially prepared by the ‘chefs’ themselves. Behind them is our management team, who literally have their hands full providing the hungry teams with a variety of burgers and other tasty treats. Just like last year, the ‘give-away’ this year is an extra 15-minute break – a gift, of course, to ensure that all colleagues have enough time to enjoy their meal. Food Safety Day ist bereits in vollem Gange. Mehr als 600 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter werden heute im Laufe des Tages spannende Schulungen über Lebensmittelsicherheit bei interaktiven Stationen besuchen. Das Ziel unseres 25-köpfigen Schulungsteams der Qualitätsmanagement-Abteilung ist einfach und schwierig zugleich: noch mehr Bewusstsein für Lebensmittelsicherheit schaffen. Bei einem Gewinnspiel können die Kolleginnen und Kollegen ihr frisch erworbenes Wissen unter Beweis stellen und attraktive Preise gewinnen. Bevor es wieder zum Arbeitsplatz zurück geht, gibt es Streetfood aus dem Foodtruck, eigens zubereitet von den „Chefs“ höchstpersönlich. Dahinter steht unser Managementteam, das buchstäblich alle Hände voll zu tun hat, um die hungrigen Teams mit unterschiedlichen Burgern und Co. zu versorgen. Wie im letzten Jahr gibt es auch heuer als „Give Away“ 15 Minuten zusätzliche Pause – geschenkt natürlich, damit alle Kolleginnen und Kollegen auch genügend Zeit zum genussvollen Essen haben. Migration & Career Development at Eisberg Austria: Governor Stelzer visits Marchtrenk! March 6, 2024, was a day dedicated to cultural diversity: Eisberg Austria welcomed the Governor of Upper Austria, Thomas Stelzer, and his team to Marchtrenk to engage in discussions on the topics of migration and career development of employees. Governor Stelzer was responding to an invitation from Mirna Pavlovic, Head of IT & Business Applications, and Franco Mühlgrabner, Managing Director at Eisberg Austria. Already during the networking event "Leading Figures in Upper Austria with a Migration Background" last October, Stelzer and Pavlovic had the opportunity to exchange ideas on diversity topics. As a company with over 560 employees from more than 45 nations, Eisberg brings a wealth of experience to the focal topics. Governor Stelzer had the opportunity to see the diversity firsthand by interacting directly with employees at their workplaces in production, warehousing, technology, and administration to learn more about their migration backgrounds and individual career stories.
