A step towards trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (#AI) in Switzerland! 🤝 In 2022, the Swiss Digital Initiative (SDI) launched the #DigitalTrustLabel. 🔒 The goal? To promote trust and transparency in emerging technologies. Security, data protection, reliability and fair user interaction criteria have now been supplemented with AI-specific criteria. 

We’re proud that our “My consignments” online service has received the Digital Trust Label and are pleased to welcome the update with the additional AI criteria. Working together for simple and secure digital communication.

🎄 “2 x Christmas” has been bringing joy to those in need for 27 years thanks to donations of non-perishable food items and hygiene products. 🥫🧼 Swiss Post provides free shipping for the donated goods parcels. 📦 But before the donated goods can be distributed, they have to be sorted. 

At the traditional event on 4 January, Thomas Baur, Deputy CEO and Head of PostalNetwork of Swiss Post, lent a hand alongside well-known personalities.“For Swiss Post, the campaign is a passion project. It’s a contribution to society. 2 x Christmas benefits from our competencies: we are represented throughout Switzerland, close to people – and even collect the parcels right from donors’ front doors.”
 
Christian Stucki was one of the familiar faces at the event. What does the former Swiss wrestling champion enjoy the most about the 2 x Christmas campaign? “You can give people a little bit of happiness. The campaign relieves the strain on the budgets of people living in poverty, which means they might be able to afford things again.”

Helping for the first time on this sorting day is model Manuela Frey, who has supported the campaign for many years as a donor: “My mother used to say: ‘Manuela, you mustn’t take it for granted that you have so many presents under the tree.’ So even back then, we used to make parcels to support people living in poverty. Today, I’m also helping out in person.”

☝️ But the campaign isn’t over yet. Donated goods parcels can be posted free of charge until 11 January 2024. “2 x Christmas” is a joint campaign run by the Schweizerisches Rotes Kreuz, SRG SSR, Coop and Swiss Post.
