Anise Health is a culturally-responsive digital mental health and wellbeing platform dedicated to meeting the unique needs of communities of color, starting with a focus on the Asian American population. 

We are founded by two minority female alumni of Harvard Business School and our clinical program is directed by Dr. Janie Hong, psychologist and Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. She is a founding partner at the Redwood Center for CBT and Research, where she maintains a small private practice. She also is the current chair of the Asian American in Behavior Therapy and Research Special Interest Group in the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.

We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate APA Heritage  Month & Mental Health Awareness Month than to kick off our ‘I Feel Good’ campaign in partnership with Love, Bonito!

The ‘I Feel Good’ campaign was built to promote and inspire pride in our identity as Asians and confidence in ourselves to chase our wildest dreams. When we internalize self-confidence and believe in our ability to reach our full potential, we are able to break free of societal constraints and reach new heights as individuals and as a community. Join us for an event centered on Destigmatizing Mental Health in South Asian Communities, facilitated by Anise Health’s Co-Founder and award-winning journalist Prachi Gupta on Wednesday April 24, 2024.

The evening will consist of a panel to build awareness about the sources of stigma in South Asian communities, and a discussion about how we can improve our collective well-being despite demanding professions. There will be a happy hour after the panel with refreshments and networking.
