Bob initially introduced a pioneering home bag check-in software solution and during the pandemic shifted its focus to efficiently reuniting lost luggage with its rightful owners. In 2022, Bob created TravelTag, a Bluetooth-based baggage tracking solution that’s poised to lead a revolution in how passengers and airlines track baggage at airports.

Backed by local and renowned international VCs, Felix’s journey with Bob followed significant roles at Amadeus, one of Spain’s foremost travel-tech companies operating globally, where he played a pivotal role in Global Strategic Growth Businesses and discovered his passion for airports. Prior to that, he contributed his expertise to GBS Finance, a Spanish strategic M&A firm.

In his spare time, Felix is a world-class open-water swimmer, holding a world record for his remarkable 40km swim from Mallorca to Menorca!

We are thrilled to welcome Tomoyuki Takada to Antler, joining us as Partner in our Tokyo office! 🇯🇵

Born in Japan and raised in the US, Tomo’s "Ikigai"—a source of joy—is nurturing Japanese entrepreneurship. Before joining Antler, he headed the Tokyo Studio at Moon Creative Lab, an incubation arm of Mitsui & Co., Ltd.

In 2017, Tomo founded LiveRun, a fitness service that instructs and motivates people to prepare for the Centenarian Olympics. Over five years, LIVERUN's live classes have drawn more than one million participants. Earlier, Tomo worked with Yelp, executing a successful country launch, and led Yelp Japan as managing director. 

Tomo holds a BS from Northwestern University, an MS from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Tomo is a self-proclaimed fitness and health nerd and a mindfulness instructor. He incorporated his learning into an Amazon top-10 novel, “RH Channel: Secret Fitness Mission.”

Congrats to Prometeo OpenBanking for securing $13M in Series A funding to create a stronger, more accessible financial system in Latin America! 

The round was led by Antler Elevate, with participation from new investors including PayPal Ventures, Samsung Next, partners from DN Capital, COMETA, and Magma Partners. 

Prometeo’s banking software platform provides its clients with automated access to bank information and payments from more than 283 financial institutions in 10 countries throughout Latin America, all through a unified API. 

As Ximena Aleman, co-founder and co-CEO of Prometeo, puts it: 

“We have always believed that Latin America can function as a unified market—despite the fact that financial technology infrastructures differ throughout these countries. Closing our Series A funding round confirms that Prometeo has played a key role thus far.”
