Apothékary started with our founder, Shizu Okusa, and her family’s traditional Japanese approach to healing — using nature as medicine instead of over-the-counter fixes. In many Eastern cultures, traditional medicine in the form of plants and herb has been used for centuries to address the root cause of common ailments.

The Blue Burn™ x Japanese Sento Experience 

To celebrate the launch of our metabolic health tincture, Blue Burn™, we invited our community (and brought together our marketing team!) to spend a relaxing and rejuvenating morning with us at Othership's newest location in New York City.

Inspired by a traditional Japanese bathhouse experience (sento), we celebrated the launch of Blue Burn™, and its beautiful blue hues in an immersive sauna session with towel-waving, aromatherapy, active movement, and guided breathwork -- followed by a cold plunge (very cold!!). The potent herbal ingredients in Blue Burn™ coupled with the metabolism-boosting benefits of the sauna and cold plunge had us all feeling the burn 🔥
