We’re pleased to announce our latest investment from our main seed fund, C2V Capital Partners II, in the construction SaaS company Digital Iron. 

This investment aligns perfectly with C2 Ventures' focus on productivity solutions for traditional industries. 

Digital Iron tackles a major pain point: inefficient equipment maintenance in heavy construction.

Key Challenges:
1. Time-consuming troubleshooting due to bulky manuals and slow manufacturer support.

2. Aging workforce with difficulty finding qualified replacements.

3. Untapped revenue from proactive parts sales and replacements (estimated at 55% of equipment cost over its lifetime).

Digital Iron's Solution:
1. Unifies equipment manuals, CRM data, and customer systems into a central hub with a natural language interface powered by generative AI.

2. Streamlines parts sourcing by automatically checking dealer inventory and suppliers for availability, pricing, and lead time.

3. Analyzes equipment usage data to predict component replacements, allowing dealers to proactively suggest parts and capture additional revenue.
