This week on People Behind Floward, we have the pleasure of introducing you to our Digital Marketing Manager Ahmed Henish!

Ahmed joined Floward family in the UAE three years ago and he is in charge of managing our digital marketing campaigns, from social media ads, to optimizing campaigns, and getting the maximum ROI on all our platforms.  

Before joining us, Ahmed had accumulated experience in various media agencies which opened up opportunities for him to work with various clients across different industries to help them achieve their online goals.  

Ahmed is also a Faculty of Law graduate from Tanta University in Egypt. As for his future academic plans, Ahmed set his eye on pursuing his MBA from the Swiss School of Management. 

Ahmed is a family guy, and he loves spending time with his loved ones whenever he has the time. Aside from that, he enjoys skipping rope. Lastly, Ahmed expressed that to him, Floward is all about ‘vision and new opportunities and challenges’, which is why he pictures himself in an even bigger position within the company in the future, to earmark Floward’s position as a market leader.

November’s birth flowers are two of the most popular flowers in the world, which is why we’re excited to introduce them to you. Chrysanthemum is November’s primary birth flower, and the secondary birth flower is the peony.
 
The chrysanthemum, sometimes referred to as mum or chrysanths, is a flower belonging to the daisy family also known as the Asteraceae family.
 
Chrysanths are native to Asia, and they originated from China where they were grown for their beauty and healing properties. Originally, chrysanths were known for their golden colour before they were cultivated into a variety of other colours including orange, pink, and white.
 
Also known as the “Queen of Fall Flowers”, the chrysanthemum gets its name from the Greek words chrysos, meaning “gold,” and anthemon, meaning “flower.”
 
The chrysanthemum has different symbolic meanings depending on its colour and culture, but in general, the flower is often associated with longevity, joy, and optimism.
 
Fun facts: chrysanthemum is the traditional flower for celebrating the 13th wedding anniversaries. It is also the traditional flower given to mothers on Mother’s Day in Australia.
 
November’s secondary birth flower, the peony, is one of the most elegant flowers belonging to the Paeoniaceae family.
 
These fragrant flowers bloom from late spring to early summer and they come in a range of pinks, reds, whites, and yellows.
 
Historically, peonies were first cultivated in Asia for their beauty and medicinal properties. They were later introduced to Western North America, and Europe where they became extremely popular for their fragrance and were widely used as a source of inspiration for artists.
 
Much like chrysanths, different coloured peonies carry different symbolic meanings, but they are most associated with prosperity, good fortune, and happiness.
 
Fun facts: there are over 40 species of peonies. The peony is also the official flower to celebrate the 12th wedding anniversaries.
