Magnetic Engines CFM56-7B HPT Blade Replacement 🔧 In 2024, Magnetic Engines Tallinn workshop completed seven HPT blade replacements on CFM56-7B engines. Each blade replacement has followed Special Procedure 002, allowing us to complete the blade swaps without removing the HPT Rotor from the assembled engine. This approach, paired with pre-ground blade sets, enabled our technicians to achieve a turnaround time of just 8 days. Magnetic Engineering has been keeping busy this season. What has the team been up to? 🧑✈️ ▶️ Supported an in-house brand in the aircraft transition, performing records review and physical inspection. In addition, the team did asset evaluation and prepared the work scope for the next shop visit for the aircraft's V2500 engine; ▶️ Redelivered two B737NG aircraft based in Australia: handling the full transition, including EASA OPS and import, records check, and status update. As the next step, we're looking forward to the delivery of the aircraft to its new operator soon. ▶️ Kicked off a partnership and took on the challenging yet very interesting redelivery project for five B737NG aircraft, all while managing to complete the project in a record time. In mid-October 2024, Airbus organised an MRO Congress event that gathered representatives from over 80 global Airbus aircraft maintenance organisations. 🗺️ This niche event was exclusively for selected MRO organisations, where Airbus shared the Global Service Forecast, Maintenance Training trends, improvements and updates in Customer Support for Heavy Maintenance Repairs, insights on Preventive Maintenance errors, the latest developments in GSE and Tooling, and plans for SATAIR Material & Logistics. It was valuable to hear Airbus's insights, reflect on MRO challenges, and discuss how we can support each other better. The Magnetic Group team also met the new Customer Support Director for the Magnetic MRO AS account, who is arranging an upcoming visit to our Tallinn facilities later this year.
