During AIChE's 6th International Conference on CRISPR Technologies, which took place October 17-19th in Boston, MA, Metagenomi gave one oral presentation and two poster presentations.  What scientific findings did we present at this conference?

Last year, we published new data in Nature Portfolio describing novel, compact RNA-guided nucleases used to develop the smallest adenine base editor (ABE) to date. This ABE, at just 623 amino acids in size, is highly active in cells.

This is a momentous day for our field and a huge step forward in paving the way for curative genetic medicines to become standardized treatments. Of course, this is an exciting day for the field, but moreover, its an astounding win for patients and families.
