Never before has breakdancing been featured as an Olympic sport. Thankfully, that is about to change! For the first time, 16 B-Boys and 16 B-Girls will battle for gold on Friday and Saturday with the eyes of the world upon them. Those competing, such as long-time STEEZY user and top contender Logan Edra, will experience a well-deserved global introduction. And in turn, Edra and her fellow competitors will be introducing so many people to breaking – and, more broadly, dance as a sport. The Olympic spotlight on the dance community will shine bright, and we at STEEZY are thrilled to see how it can help propel the sport going forward.
