Today, we’re announcing something very special. Not a sale. (We try and make Yes Friends as affordable as possible every single day). But much better than a sale. Today, we’re bringing back one of our favourite Yes Friends features to date. Tipping garment workers. If you’ve been with Yes Friends for a while — firstly, thank you — and secondly, you’ll remember that during our denim campaign, you were able to directly tip the people who made your jeans. For reasons we won’t bore you with, until now, we were only able to do that for denim. Since then, we’ve set-up a new tipping system with our Fair Trade factory and have been using it over the last year to pay the Yes Friends bonus to our garment workers. And today, we’re opening it up to you. So you can tip your garment workers directly as well. In an industry where garment workers are being squeezed for every last penny, earning as little as 3p per garment, let's doing something different. Yes Friends already pays a bonus for every garment we make to ensure garment workers receive a good wage.
