We are thrilled to announce that our portfolio company, Hornet Therapeutics, has emerged from stealth with the publication of significant new data published in the prestigious journal, Science Magazine.

The published data demonstrate the first ever small molecule drug, HTX-201, with the potential for treating Epstein-Barr Virus driven (EBV) diseases.

HTX-201 was exclusively in-licensed from Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd. and Hornet now looks forward to progressing at speed into proof-of-concept trials in solid organ transplant populations.

We were privileged to host Masami Sakoi, the Vice-Minister of Health and Tadayuki Mizutani, Director of the Policy Planning Division for the Pharmaceutical Industry of Japan and delegates from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare at our offices in London.
 
Discussions revolved around the value proposition of incubators and accelerators in the life sciences field, as well as the mechanisms through which early-stage ventures interact and collaborate with accelerators. 
The meeting served as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration between 4BIO Capital and representatives from Japan, reinforcing the importance of international partnerships in advancing the global life sciences landscape.
