We are pleased to announce that we’ve received FDA Fast Track Designation for AlloNK® (also known as AB-101) for the treatment of lupus nephritis in combination with rituximab or obinutuzumab. Artiva previously received FDA clearance of an Investigational New Drug (IND) application for AlloNK in combination with rituximab in LN, marking the first IND clearance of an allogeneic, off-the-shelf NK cell therapy in autoimmune disease.

Significant research exploring the potential of NodThera’s brain-penetrant #NLRP3 #inflammasome inhibitors to reverse diet-induced #obesity and #inflammation has been published in the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. 

The paper, entitled ‘Reversal of high fat diet-induced obesity, systemic inflammation and astrogliosis by the NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitors NT-0249 and NT-0796’ demonstrates for the first time the ability of NT-0796 and NT-0249 to not only induce statistically significant reductions in body fat in an animal model, but also reduce disease-relevant inflammatory biomarkers, suggesting the potential of NLRP3 inhibitors to further reduce cardiovascular risk in obese populations.

Prior to joining NodThera, Thomas was Vice President, Global Program Head of the Small Molecule Portfolio at Galapagos, where his strategic guidance led to multiple successful regulatory submissions and approvals. He also served as Senior Vice President, Head of #ClinicalDevelopment at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, leading the spin-off of two assets to successful registration and assisting in its $120 million Series A Financing and subsequent IPO.
