Our new R&D Expertise Center in Bordeaux (Nouvelle Aquitaine - France) is already up and running as well as a state-of-the-art Industrial Excellence Center near Angouleme (Nouvelle Aquitaine - France). We are now building our first gigafactory in Billy Berclau / Douvrin (Hauts-de-France - France). A new Applied Engineering Center and a second gigafactory planned in Kaiserslautern (Germany), and a third one in Termoli (Italy) will soon reinforce our innovation and production capacities.

🚀 SERMA Group and ACC - Automotive Cells Company join forces to drive the electric future and sign a 6-year strategic partnership for battery testing. 🤝
 
This partnership marks a crucial step in the growth of the SERMA Group’s energy business, and represents a mutual commitment to promoting and developing electric mobility in France and worldwide. 🔋
  
By multiplying its test capacity dedicated to the validation of electric vehicle powertrains, SERMA confirms its positioning at the heart of the automotive industry’s future challenges. The new test center, located in Martillac near Bordeaux on a platform of over 6,500m², will welcome 45 new employees and will be operational by the end of 2024. The first tests at the new center will start in 2025. ⚡
SERMA will carry out electrical and abuse tests for ACC on batteries developed by the R&D Expertise Center in Bruges, reinforcing a fruitful collaboration of over two years.

It is important to emphasize that the project would have been impossible without the commitment and efficiency of the real estate company Berlié Buildings Company. Their ability to identify, negotiate, and finance the Martillac site within a few weeks was crucial for the realization of this project.

Ce partenariat marque une étape cruciale dans la croissance de l’activité énergie du Groupe SERMA et représente un engagement mutuel à promouvoir et à développer la mobilité électrique en France et dans le monde. 🔋
  
En démultipliant sa capacité de test dédiée à la validation de la chaîne de traction des véhicules électriques, SERMA confirme son positionnement au coeur des enjeux futurs de l’industrie automobile. Le nouveau centre de test, installé à Martillac en région bordelaise, sur une plateforme de plus de 6500m², accueillera 45 nouveaux collaborateurs et sera opérationnel dès fin 2024. Les premiers essais de ce nouveau centre débuteront en 2025. ⚡
 
SERMA réalisera pour ACC les essais électriques et abusifs de batteries développées par le R&D Expertise Center de Bruges, renforçant ainsi une collaboration fructueuse de plus de deux ans.

Il est important de souligner que le projet aurait été impossible sans l'engagement et l'efficacité de la société foncière Berlié Buildings Company. Leur capacité à identifier, négocier et financer le site de Martillac en quelques semaines a été cruciale pour la concrétisation de ce projet.
