Bill Tai was the first investor in Zoom and early investor in Wish, Canva, Dapper Labs, and over 20 publicly traded companies.  Amanda Terry has over 20 years experience in digital media business development (ex-Twitter) and co-invested with Bill for 3 years before starting this fund in 2021.  Their LP base is a global community of founders, operators, and investors with deep domain expertise, diverse networks, and a desire to help innovative companies grow.

🔎 Simple Proof developed technology to enhance transparency and ensure the authenticity of documents by incorporating robust blockchain-based timestamping into current processes. This enables anyone to independently verify whether documents have been altered. Based in the USA. 🇺🇸

👩🏻‍🏫 TOMi inc developed innovative technologies for mediating teaching and learning experiences. TOMi is a teacher’s assistant, which connects to a projector, TV or screen with the option to interact through an optical pen, keyboard, mouse or mobile device to function as an interactive whiteboard and grading assistant, for example, significantly impacting students’ learning process. Based in Colombia. 🇨🇴

The Government of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with XTC and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), launched the competition in a concerted effort to align technological innovation with the United Nations SDG 16. 

🎤 Finalists will pitch on the global stage during the UN Summit of the Future in New York in September.
