Ahead of World Cancer Day, join us as we cast a light on cancer cachexia. For a long time, cachexia has been recognized as an adverse effect of cancer and it has been estimated that this devastating wasting disease affects 50–80% of cancer patients and accounts for up to 20% of cancer deaths. 
 
Other than supportive care, no globally approved products are available for this patient population so there remains an important unmet need for effective new treatments.
