Founded as the first of its kind in 1998, by Stephan Schubert, Michael W. Schwetje & Fritz Oidtmann, onvista announced its IPO just prior to the peak of the #dotcom crisis, with onvista shares 80x oversubscribed. Until its exit, the startup has burned no more than €4 million in cash.
