Delighted to announce our consumer business Atome Financial, which includes our Atome #buynowpaylater and Kredit Pintar, our digital lending platform in Indonesia, has secured a secured a three-year term loan facility from EvolutionX Debt Capital. 

Atome Financial is concurrently working with a syndicate of investors to fully utilise the accordion feature of the facility which can increase the total amount to up to US$100 million. 💰✨

Having reached profitability in Q1 this year, the new facility will supercharge expansion of its profitable regional credit portfolio and support the launch of new products such as #savings, #lending, #insurance, and #AtomeCard (Pay Later Anywhere) in markets including #Singapore, #Malaysia, #Philippines, and #Indonesia. 🚀🚀

💼💰Operating income for Jan-Dec 2023 nearly doubled to US$170 million, from previous year's US$88 million.

 📈💰In addition, Atome Financial achieved another significant milestone in the first quarter of 2024 by turning EBITDA positive.

One of the standout successes for Atome Financial lies in the #profitability of its #BNPL business, Atome. 

🛒💰With #GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) of nearly US$1.5 billion processed in 2023, Atome BNPL turned profitable, thanks to a 130% surge in revenue.

Last week, our digital lending business Kredit Pintar took part in "Fintech Lending Days: Medan", a week-long roadshow organized by (AFPI) Asosiasi FinTech Pendanaan Bersama Indonesia  involving Micro & SME Exhibition & Talk Show exhibition in North Sumatra.

A highlight of the two-day event was witnessing the remarkable work of Galeri Tenun Trias Tambun, a small business specializing in woven fabrics using the traditional Jacquard method. Notably, they utilized fintech loans for working capital to expand their operations. 

MSMEs contribute 60% towards Indonesia's GDP and employ ~97% of Indonesia's working population. At Kredit Pintar:

	• 🏢 1 in 2 loans are for working capital/education
	• 🧕🏽45% of borrowers are female 
	• 🇮🇩 Borrowers are spread out across Sumatra and east, west, central Java 

It was also highlighted that by the end of 2023, the fintech lending industry has distributed IDR 241 trillion, a 45% increase YoY.

At the event, Entjik S. Djafar, General Chair of (AFPI) Asosiasi FinTech Pendanaan Bersama Indonesia  said, "This is proof of their (MSME) interest in alternative funding for their business through #fintech #lending platforms. It is hoped that this event will be able to become a bridge between micro business actors or entrepreneurs and fintech lending providers to be able to collaborate with each other in joint business development. 

"We also want to continue to educate MSME players to use fintech lending platforms as a legal funding alternative, to avoid (illegal) borrowing."

Did you know that Indonesia's MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) sector contributes 62% of the country's GDP and employs nearly 97% of the total workforce? 

This past weekend, our digital lending arm Kredit Pintar conducted its second #financialliteracy workshop of the year in the Purwokerto region in Central Java. 

We invited Pujianto, General Chair of the Banyumas Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Association (Aspikmas) to share his #digitalmarketing tips to grow MSME businesses with the Kredit Pintar community, where 1 in 2 loans are for working/productive capital and 45% of borrowers are female.
