In January, the U.S. Department of Defense unveiled its National Defense Industrial Strategy, providing a roadmap to a more resilient #supplychain with fewer barriers to entry for domestic suppliers. In a new article in Washington Technology, AEI Managing Partner Kirk Konert says the new strategy is a step in the right direction for #nationalsecurity. Kirk discusses the opportunities it presents for "non-traditional" companies to enter the defense industrial market and addresses the critical role that #privatecapital has to play in helping organizations accelerate innovation and get a seat at the table.
