Drug discovery is a sequential process of target protein selection, drug design, in-vitro/in-vivo, pre-clinical, and clinical. During the whole process, drug design is the most important process because compounds selected from drug design are maintained till clinical, determining success or failure of the drug discovery. The drug design is so called computer-aided drug design (CADD), which has been ignored due to inaccuracy, slowness, and complexity of available computational tools for long times. However, introduction of AI (Artficial Intelligence) and high-performance GPU computer to CADD results in a great potential of CADD for drug discovery. So far AIMBLE has completed the development of a CADD platform, which includes binding affinity and toxicity solutions based on high-tech methods, i.e., molecular dynamics and quantum mechanics, as well as AI. The automated AIMBLE platform accomplishes structure-based drug design with great accuracy of Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.87 (binding affinity) and AUC of 0.9 (toxicity).
