Air Canada provides domestic, U.S. transborder, and international airline services. It offers scheduled passenger services under the Air Canada Vacations and Air Canada Rouge brand name in the Canadian market, the Canada-U.S. transborder market, and in the international market to and from Canada, as well as through capacity purchase agreements on other regional carriers. As of December 31, 2021, the company operated a fleet of 175 aircraft under the Air Canada mainline brand name comprising 97 Boeing and Airbus narrow-body aircraft, and 78 Boeing and Airbus wide-body aircraft; 123 aircraft under the Air Canada Express brand name, including 50 Mitsubishi regional jets, 48 De Havilland Dash-8 turboprop aircraft and 25 Embraer 175 aircraft; and 39 aircraft under the Air Canada Rouge brand name consisting of 14 Airbus A321 aircraft, 5 Airbus A320 aircraft, and 20 Airbus A319 aircraft. It also provides air cargo services in domestic and U.S. transborder routes, as well as on international routes between Canada and markets in Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia. In addition, the company operates, develops, markets, and distributes vacation travel packages in the Caribbean, Mexico, the United States, Europe, Central and South America, South Pacific, Australia, and Asia; offers cruise packages in North America, Europe, and the Caribbean; and provides travel loyalty programs. Air Canada was founded in 1937 and is headquartered in Saint-Laurent, Canada.

Air Canada flew a larger aircraft to Jamaica to bring Canadians home after Hurricane Beryl. With more cargo space available, they reached out to see if we had aid to send with them. We sent 720 Family Emergency Kits with household water purification units, hygiene items and solar lights and 720 Emergency Food Kits to the airport and Air Canada flew them to Montego Bay this morning. We are so grateful for our ongoing partnership with Air Canada & Air Canada Cargo who continue to help us deliver the right aid to the right people at the right time.

This notable honour recognizes his outstanding contributions to our operations and safety standards, ensuring that safety is the first and foremost priority in everything we do.
 
Alistair has celebrated 40 years of service with Air Canada. He is a past recipient of Air Canada’s Award of Excellence, a program that recognizes a select group of exceptional individuals who consistently demonstrate behaviours that distinguish them as role models for their teammates. Le 20 juin, certains de nos collègues se sont joints à l’équipe de l’incroyable documentaire RHINO MAN dans le cadre de sa première canadienne au TIFF Bell Lightbox de Toronto. 
 
RHINO MAN met de l’avant les luttes et les triomphes des gardes terrestres Anton Mzimba, Leitah Mkhabela et Orlat Ndlovu, ainsi que de leurs entraîneurs Ruben et Marianne de Kock. Le film met également en lumière le mouvement mondial qui soutient leur travail essentiel pour empêcher l’extinction des rhinocéros.
 
En tant qu’entreprise, nous sommes fiers de partager l’engagement des gardes terrestres à protéger les rhinocéros et autres espèces sauvages menacées. En appliquant une politique de tolérance zéro à l’égard du transport d’espèces menacées, de trophées de chasse ou de tout produit associé à des activités illégales en lien avec des espèces sauvages, notre lutte contre le trafic d’espèces sauvages fait depuis longtemps partie de notre engagement en matière d’environnement et de développement durable.

On June 20th, some of our colleagues joined the team behind the incredible documentary film "RHINO MAN" for its Canadian premiere at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto. 
 
"RHINO MAN" highlights the struggles and triumphs of field rangers Anton Mzimba, Leitah Mkhabela and Orlat Ndlovu alongside their field trainers Ruben and Marianne de Kock. The film also shines a light on the global movement supporting their critical work in preventing rhino extinction.
 
As an organization, we are proud to share the rangers' commitment to protecting rhinos and other endangered wildlife. By having a zero-tolerance policy on carrying endangered species, hunting trophies or any product associated with illegal wildlife activities, our fight against wildlife crime has long been part of our environmental and sustainability commitment.

Embarquement immédiat de notre vol à Stockholm, en Suède! 🇸🇪

À compter d’aujourd’hui et jusqu’à la fin octobre, nous offrons un vol sans escale de ADM Aéroports de Montréal à la capitale suédoise trois fois par semaine. Nous avons aussi célébré mercredi notre vol inaugural au départ de Greater Toronto Airports Authority. 

Juste à temps pour le festival Midsummer, vous pourrez célébrer le solstice d’été en plus de profiter des nombreux festivals de musique tout au long de la saison chaude en Suède. Rendez-vous au nord de Stockholm pour assister au soleil de minuit, un phénomène extraordinaire qui se produit pendant l’été. ☀️ N’oubliez pas de goûter aux célèbres boulettes de viande suédoises pendant votre séjour (Le saviez-vous? Le Journée des boulettes de viande suédoise a lieu à la fin août). Bon voyage!

As of today, we offer non-stop flights from ADM Aéroports de Montréal to the Swedish capital, 3 times a week until the end of October. We also celebrated our inaugural flight from Greater Toronto Airports Authority on Wednesday!  
 
Right on time for the Midsummer festival, you can celebrate the summer solstice as well as experience the multiple music festivals Sweden has to offer throughout the warmer months! Head north of Stockholm to experience the Midnight Sun, an extraordinary phenomenon occurring in the summer months. ☀️ Also, don’t forget to try their famous Swedish meatballs while you’re there (fun fact: Swedish Meatballs Day is at the end of August)! Happy travels!

Our maintenance teams are helping build a brighter future for kids, one bike at a time. They generously donated their time in Toronto, Montreal & Vancouver to assemble and gift bicycles with the hope of inspiring children to dream and explore. ✨
