Reflecting on my week in San Diego engaging with top benefits leaders and industry partners. What's on the mind of innovative HR and benefits teams?

🔝 GLP-1s. Employees want them covered by the plan but doing so will force rates to soar for self-funded employers and their members. This topic and how employers are navigating it dominated both on-stage at The Conference Board and off.

💡 Whole person health. Plan designs are advancing beyond traditional networks, with HR leaders offering diverse solutions from caregiver support to nutritional coaching, redefining benefits beyond a mere insurance ID card.

🌈 DEI in benefits. A shift towards enhancing employee experience includes initiatives supporting diverse populations, LGBTQIA+ inclusive care options, and expanded mental health access. Benefits in 2024 are about more than just costs; they're about holistic support and inclusivity.
