Our Growth Fund will assist Leep Utilities to roll out new sites and further invest into its decarbonised heat initiatives.

Portsmouth Water, Biogen (UK) Ltd and Leep Utilities are resolving some of the UK’s most pressing challenges, including accelerating the energy transition and ensuring the UK has a clean, secure and resilient water supply.

Ancala-backed Dragon Group Ltd welcomed Joyce Watson MS to its new solar farm the other week to mark International Women in Engineering Day. 

Dragon has a long term commitment to Pembrokeshire’s young people. Since 2005, it has been working with the education department at Pembrokeshire County Council and Pembrokeshire College to deliver projects which inspire the next generation of STEM specialists.

Joyce Watson, who chairs the Welsh Parliament’s cross-party construction group, said: “Dragon LNG, through its award-winning Darwin project, is doing fantastic work with Pembrokeshire College, the Pembrokeshire Education Authority and local stakeholders to engage around 3,500 learners every year – over 70,000 since it started in 2005."

We’re incredibly excited about Ancala-backed Liverpool John Lennon Airport bringing Jet2.com and Jet2holidays on board. The UK’s largest tour operator and third largest airline will start flying from Liverpool to 20 sunshine destinations from 28 March 2024.
 
Jet2’s arrival at Liverpool John Lennon Airport also represents a significant investment for the Merseyside region. The airline’s new operations will create more than 200 jobs across flight deck, cabin crew, engineering, and ground operations.

We were an early mover into the biofuel space having invested in Biogen (UK) Ltd in 2017. We have since supported the business to complete three acquisitions, optimise its production, and more than double its revenues to almost £50m in its latest financial year.
 
Discussing Biogen and the merits of the biofuel sector with the publication, Ankur Ajmera commented: “The strong majority of our revenues are supported by 20-year inflation-linked, government backed support schemes, which results in meaningful downside protection and an attractive cash-flow profile for our investors.”
