A.P. Moller Holding enjoyed strong cash inflow and experienced an increase in net asset value in 2023 despite headwinds in global trade.
 
The A.P. Moller Group concluded 2023 with a consolidated revenue of USD 56bn, EBITDA of USD 10bn, a net result of USD 5bn, and total consolidated assets of USD 110bn. The NAV increased 8% to USD 32bn. The public markets portfolio delivered a return of 16% during the year.

Have you ever thought about how offshore wind turbines are built? It takes a special kind of vessel to assemble the different parts such a big project at sea. 

Maersk Supply Service has designed and commissioned a new type of Wind Installation Vessel to make offshore wind farm installations up to 30% faster. As a key component to the new installation process, the Wind Installation Vessel will remain on location to install the wind turbines, while smaller feeder ships transport the components of the wind turbines or the foundations from port to installation site.

The Wind Installation Vessel has also been designed with a patented stabilising technology, so it can ‘lock’ with the feeder vessels and safely receive the ferried components in much rougher waves.

The vessel is under construction and expected to be completed in the second half of 2025. Watch as it slowly takes shape.
