💨 FAA Downwash Testing with Midnight 💨

Midnight recently completed a downwash testing campaign with the Federal Aviation Administration that included a series of six flights in four days. The campaign will provide the FAA with valuable data about the impact of our aircraft’s downwash/outwash footprint when taking off and landing at helipads across the country - an important step in unlocking access to additional aviation infrastructure that will further support the ramp up of our commercial operations.

Archer is happy to be participating in LAX’s formal request for industry input on electric air taxi operations and is encouraged by the growing interest in electric air taxi's that local leaders across the Southern California market continue to show. 

We look forward to building on our partnerships with United Airlines  and Atlantic Aviation to establish sites for electric aircraft operations in the vibrant community of Los Angeles and beyond.

🦺 Safety. Safety. Safety - Safety is the guiding principle of this partnership and this first project together will focus on ensuring the highest levels of safety and performance for battery systems that we'll use to enable the electrification of aviation at scale.

👩‍🚀 Space Act Agreement - Archer and NASA have already been working together, but today's Space Act Agreement announcement sets the table to expand our work together collaborating on battery technology as well as other mission-critical eVTOL aircraft technologies.
 
💪 Leadership - Our collaboration under the NASA Space Act Agreement is focused on ensuring the U.S. leads the world in the next generation of air transportation.
