Five-time NBA All-Star and #GCDSAlumni Donovan Mitchell ‘12 opened The Donovan Mitchell Family Athletic Center, a state-of-the-art facility that will house a full-sized NCAA basketball court. 'The DON' will be the first and only building on campus large enough to host all-school events and assemblies, allowing elementary, middle, and upper school divisions to come together under one roof. Mitchell, now in his eighth season in the NBA, took a ceremonial first shot on the court during the celebration with family, friends, former #GCDSTeachers and his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates in attendance. #GCDSCommunity #GCDSFacilities .
