We are delighted to announce the hiring of Brian Roach as Arkana’s Client Relations Manager. Brian has worked in medical device sales for the better part of the last 15 years. He began his career at Acxiom in 2001, later joining Citigroup, before transitioning to healthcare when he took over sales at Medical Solutions of Arkansas. Over the years, Brian has held roles in medical device sales at Omnis Health, MediCore, and ASP Global. When asked why he chose to make the move over to Arkana, Brian said, “I have always been a big believer in doing the right thing and trying to be a helper in the world rather than a hindrance. The incredible thought, precision, and detail they put into every client and patient interaction is really what led me here. There aren’t a lot of companies that are doing what we are doing here at Arkana, and I am beyond blessed to be a part of it and hopefully, able to help add to the future success of this company”. We are excited to announce the hiring of Laura Freer , CPA, as Arkana’s Controller in the finance department. Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arkansas State University and has more than 25 years of accounting experience in transportation, communications, non-profit, hospitality, and healthcare. Laura says she was initially drawn to Arkana because of our passion for improving patient care, but knew she wanted to take on this role when she learned more about our values of generosity, pulling the sled, and freedom to fail. This past Saturday, we hosted our second annual kickball day. The red and white teams were neck and neck last year, so both teams were coming for the win.
