Armory Square Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Upstate New York and NYC.  We often provide the first round of institutional capital for companies targeting the largest industries across New York State and select emerging cities across the Northeast. We are actively involved in all aspects of company growth—from recruiting senior talent, customers, and co-investors to providing general management support.

We launched our firm in 2014 and consider ourselves fortunate to be backed by the region’s most respected institutions, corporations and foundations. Our entrepreneurs tend to be as passionate as our community is to build companies that support and grow their own towns and geographies.

Heads up, founders/CEOs in Upstate NY! Armory is hosting our annual CEO Summit in Skaneateles on September 18. This half-day event, which caters to early-stage tech founders, will be broken into three parts: 
(1) How to Turn Your Board into a Strategic Weapon
(2) Exit Planning
(3) Recruiting A-Level Talent
The latter session will be led by ghSMART, a global standard bearer for talent assessment with experience advising world-leading public companies on leadership strategy. We'll conclude the day with drinks and networking on the lakefront.

Despite the tornado warning (!), a wonderful crowd braved the elements for our annual summer soiree last week. The Mandana Barn held strong, and we had a delicious spread of Indian dishes from chef Donald Rodrigues and his team. As always, it was a lively and uplifting opportunity to connect with our ASV community.
