Arrowhead Game Studios AB is an independent Swedish video game developer, established in 2008 by a group of Luleå University of Technology students studying in Skellefteå. The company has released several successful games and is known for creating intensely thrilling and hilarious game experiences for players.

Arrowhead Game Studios is located in Stockholm, Sweden and we are a game developer focusing on creating immersive games for Console and PC. We have a team of ambitious, friendly and fun-loving developers challenging the game industry, while aiming to deliver an entertaining and high quality gaming experience. We’re most known for our co-op games and are the developers behind Magicka™, The Showdown Effect™, Gauntlet™ and Helldivers™.

They mean that we aim to create games that have believable world design, gameplay that creates social connections between players and a playful approach to the game where you feel as if you are immersed in a fantasy. Arrowhead is always on the lookout for developers to act upon these pillars in developing our future AAA console title.

By challenging the creativity of the players, we create memorable experiences with humor and social interaction, that leaves you with stories to tell. We are known for our uncompromising game mechanics and intense cooperative gameplay, and are well underway of our next project: a 3rd person shooter featuring next-gen graphics, innovative co-op and agency for the community to alter the course of the game. This AAA game will share the satirical humor that fans of our previous games know and love.
