Session Title: Opening Gas Sensing Possibilities with Silicon Photonics-Based Sensors Abstract: Dr. Tristan Rousselle explored the immense potential of odorant VOCs (smells) as a valuable yet often underestimated source of information across various markets. In collaboration with CEA-Grenoble, Aryballe has developed a selective VOC sensor capable of real-time detection and identification. This innovative technology uses a 64-channel Mach Zender Interferometer (MZI) functionalized with proprietary peptide biosensors, capable of detecting a broad range of odors and chemical families. The sensor generates live data across a wide concentration range, enabling diverse industrial and environmental applications. Dr. Rousselle also highlighted Aryballe's successful deployment of their products in the Food and Cosmetics markets, and recent breakthroughs in the medical diagnostic domain, particularly in bacterial infection detection.
