Atlantic Sapphire is close to completion of its phase 1 build-out, which is projected to harvest approximately 10,000 tons of salmon annually.

What Bluehouse Salmon Eat vs. What Wild Atlantic Salmon eat, why aren't they the same? Our Bluehouse Salmon's diet is quite varied, receiving nutrition in the form of protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant carotenoids for color. In comparison, wild Atlantic salmon receive their nutrition primarily through other smaller fish and prey. To meet the increased demand for salmon consumption and lessen the pressure on the world's oceans, our teams at Atlantic Sapphire and Skretting have developed a fish feed that still gives the same nutritional components to salmon but doesn't contribute to the stress of overfishing.
