Strong partnership since decades!  Hagenuk Marinekommunikation GmbH and Electrotech Australia met in Sydney recently to review growth opportunities in the #maritime HF market. Exciting news to share from Marine Port Day in Lappvik, Finland! Last week, we had the privilege of showcasing our groundbreaking strategic partnership R&D project, AURORA, together with Marine Alutech Oy Ab.

During the event, we presented a live demonstration to our customer, highlighting the remarkable capabilities of our remotely operated vessel, RV AURORA. It was a proud moment as we showcased its proficiency in conducting #autonomous and #remote control missions.

Moreover, we also had the pleasure of demonstrating our AUV, SeaCat, which shares the same software foundation as RV AURORA. 

As an exciting twist, during the demonstration, the SeaCat utilized our advanced payload technology #sonar and discovered within only 20 minutes two sunken boats that were previously unknown. It was a testament to the effectiveness of our cutting-edge solutions.

Last week it was time again - about 100 ATLAS runners fought their way around the Weserstadion, through the Pauliner Marsch, over the 6.2km course with the emotional run-in in the Weserstadion. We were able to defend the title "fastest mixed team" - congratulations to all runners. Great team spirit, a lot of fun and team spirit were in the foreground of the afternoon.

BlueWhale ASW – new autonomous solution for uncrewed ASW launched at Undersea Defence Technology!

Together with our industry partners from IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries, we have officially launched a new solution today at UDT from the family of uncrewed underwater #vessels for ASW operations: BlueWhale is an autonomous underwater multi-mission platform developed by ELTA Systems Ltd which integrates a large unmanned underwater vehicle with a wide range of advanced sensor systems. The system incorporates our unique, towed passive #sonar triplet array.

During a festive ceremony at the booth of ELTA this afternoon, Eyal Shapira, Vice President and General Manager of ELTA’s division for Air Defense and Naval Systems, and our CEO Michael Ozegowski officially launched the new joint development highly specialized for ASW missions.

Today, Buddhists around the world celebrate Vesakh. Each Buddhist culture has its own traditions for the Vesak festival, but it is celebrated in lots of different countries. According to an ancient tradition, many Buddhists ceremoniously scrub all statues of Buddha at Vesakh - at home, in the temple and in nature. May this festival bring peace, joy and goodwill as you celebrate the auspicious occasion of Vesak this year. We wish all our colleagues, partners and customers: Happy Vesakh Day!

Every day, 14,000 blood donations are needed in Germany. 
A blood transfusion is the only chance of survival for many people.

Each blood donation is divided into up to three preparations and thus helps up to three people.
There are a lot of reasons to #donate blood.

As part of #wecaredays, we once again welcomed the GermanRedCross to our site in Bremen last week. A total of 82 employees donated blood in the time from 10:30am - 4:00pm. Many thanks for your commitment. 

A big thank you also goes to the team of the German Red Cross for the great organization and cooperation.
