We have developed the Atlas Process - a breakthrough process technology - for making battery grade nickel with almost zero CO2 and no waste or other emissions while increasing the amount of ore available to make battery grade nickel by 50%.  

Until now, saprolite ores, which account for approximately one third of the world’s nickel resources, have not been available for battery grade applications.

Atlas has assembled a world-class management team to develop its technology, design and commission a plant and market a range of industrial materials. 

The Company is already working with global nickel industry leaders to construct its first commercial scale plant - Project Electra - in North America with support from Hatch, SGS and NewPro Engineering.

It will be a big undertaking to meet this demand but there are number of creative, leading companies, people and governments that are leaning into and meeting the challenge.  This includes Atlas Materials.

We are pleased to have signed a commercial agreement with Société Minière Georges MONTAGNAT (SMGM) for the supply of nickel ore to Electra - our first commercial plant, which will be located in North America. SMGM is an established nickel producer based in New Caledonia and this partnership is an important step towards our goal of providing a secure source of clean nickel to diversify supply chains and meet growing demand for battery grade nickel for electric vehicles.

Our world class team have developed the Atlas Process which will produce battery grade nickel with almost zero CO2 and no waste or other emissions – it will also increase the amount of ore available to make battery grade nickel by 50%.
