Audley Travel is a travel company that arranges trips to over 80 destinations worldwide. They offer customized travel experiences and provide travel tips and ideas through their publication, Audley Traveller.

Life at Audley

We offer flexibility through hybrid working, giving you the chance to split your time between home and our offices. Within the UK, choose from our historic converted mill in Witney, Oxfordshire — complete with allotments and barbecues — or our sleek London office in Shepherd’s Bush, near Westfield Shopping Centre. We also have a US office in Boston’s trendy North End. Regular socials take place at each office, providing time to connect with others away from work.

We welcome and celebrate differences and encourage everyone to bring their true selves to work. Our global diversity, equity, and inclusion group, Unify, was set up to raise awareness of DE&I at Audley and identify areas we can improve on. After all, it's our people that make Audley successful.

Some of our lovely Admin Team used their volunteering day to help the conservation team Cogges Manor Farm whilst others spent the day around Witney town centre litter picking.   
 
It was a rewarding day giving back to the local community, with a now weed-free courtyard at Cogges and over the 5 bags of rubbish removed from the town. Great effort team 👏

Earlier this month some of our Executive Board members and our Building Careers Manager spent the morning at Notre Dame Girls School, setting the year 10 pupils a travel challenge to work through. The pupils were asked to design a half day excursion, with a responsible travel focus, which Audley’s US clients could take when visiting London.

The girls were split into 5 groups and assigned a Board member as a mentor and spent the morning researching, planning, designing, and presenting their projects back to the expert panel.

It is fair to say the Executive board were very impressed with the results with the girls demonstrating some of the valuable skills needed to be successful in the workplace such as teamwork, decision making, communication and presenting. 👏

With the summer holidays arriving this week for teachers and students, Audley Travel have completed their Work Experience Programme for this academic year. 

This year we have hosted 44 students from local secondary schools to our Witney and London offices. Our work experience programme offers students a chance to rotate through the various functions of the business to gain an understanding of an award-winning travel company. 

During the week, the students spend time with experts in their fields, hearing about why they love their jobs and their career journey's. Students are also set tasks and projects that reflect the day-to-day work in each department which help to build key skills and provides them with important workplace experience. 
With feedback scores of 4.8 out of 5 the students are clearly enjoying the programme and finding the activities and advice incredibly beneficial and rewarding.
