This Black History Month, we are excited to highlight influential figures in African American History.

"Booker T. Washington (1856-1915) was born into slavery and rose to become a leading African American intellectual of the 19th century, founding Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute (Now Tuskegee University) and the National Negro Business League two decades later. In my journey through the highs and lows of the business world, I've encountered numerous challenges that have tested my resilience, adaptability, and vision. My experiences have not just shaped me into the leader I am today, but also offered invaluable lessons that I believe are crucial for any aspiring business leader or CEO. AvantGarde (AG) is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a new five-year contract at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for FY24-FY28.  DOJ has been a client of AG’s (primarily serving in a subcontractor role) since 2011. We have thoroughly enjoyed supporting the Department in various key roles in IT case management solutions. This new win is incredible for AG because it is our first win as a Prime contractor where we can expand our existing work and continue adding value as a strategic go-to partner in IT. Congratulations to our DOJ team who worked so hard to earn the client’s trust and demonstrate how AG is fast becoming a trusted advisor in IT solutions.
