Finnish startup Chipmetrics raises €2.4M for advancing PillarHall® technology in global semiconductor market 

Joensuu-based semiconductor technology startup Chipmetrics Ltd recently closed a successful €2.4 million in a seed round led by HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds and co-led by OCCIDENT, with participation from investors including Innovestor, Redstone, and BALD Engineering AB. The funds will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s groundbreaking PillarHall® metrology test chip technology, used for measuring conformality in semiconductor and thin film material manufacturing. As a testament to Chipmetrics’ innovation, the investment is expected to accelerate product development, scale up production capabilities, and expand the company’s global market presence.
