Baszucki Group directs resources toward the greater good through mission-driven investments that improve human health, governance, and the health of our planet.

Launched in 2021 by Roblox founder and CEO David Baszucki and best-selling author Jan Ellison Baszucki, Baszucki Group leverages private giving, impact investing, advocacy, storytelling and community building to drive foundational change.

A primary objective of Baszucki Group is to transform mental health outcomes by supporting initiatives at the intersection of metabolism, psychiatry, and neuroscience. Its two other focus areas are electoral reforms that integrate open primaries and ranked-choice voting, and regenerative agricultural practices that promote healthy soil, healthy climate, healthy animals, and healthy food.

In 2022, Baszucki Group launched Metabolic Mind, a non-profit initiative working to transform the study and treatment of mental disorders by exploring the connection between metabolism and brain health. It leverages the science of metabolic psychiatry and personal stories to offer education, community, and hope to people struggling with mental health challenges and those who care for them.

Baszucki Group includes the Baszucki Family Foundation, the Baszucki Brain Research Fund and impact investment vehicles.

As part of our work in electoral innovation, Baszucki Group is committed to supporting transpartisan initiatives like Unite America. These initiatives focus on systemic changes to enhance election integrity and align elected officials' incentives with the interests of the majority of their constituents.

A recent PBS NewsHour feature with Judy Woodruff highlights Unite America's philanthropic efforts in advancing nonpartisan election reform to create a more representative and effective government through open primaries and ranked-choice voting. We believe this approach could pave the way for more collaboration and less polarization in our government. It’s a promising step towards a more functional and effective democracy.
