This is me kissing the founder and CEO of Beaumont Organic (also my wife 😁), it was my first year in NY during fashion week showing our latest autumn/winter collection. The future of our brand in the US is looking bright as we welcome and additional 19 new stores and overall presence in 18 states. The other win and potentially as important as gaining new business was the fact few stores dropped out which is proof that our collections are being well accepted in the market. I didn’t appreacite how big this place is and how fashion buying can switch from one state to the other. Lots of challenges ahead but also plenty of opportunities. Amazing to have Manc designed brand doing great things out there and doing it right 🌏🚀 Well done to all the team and thank you to all our stores. Chinese New Year is taking centre stage once again in Manchester City Centre and this year is the big one. 🐉Year of the Dragon 🐉 Gary Williams and I used to spend so much time ensuring whatever we did for the city was unique and a credible tribute. The Year of the Pig in 2019 was a massive year for me as we produced this unique 1 of 1 installation from a conceptional drawing and obviously epic amounts of structural designs. It was super complex from beginning to end and sometimes felt it was impossible but the end result was incredible. Ha and not to forget the coat we tried to create made of 50,000 pennies, it didn’t work in the end but I love the fact we went for it. The outcome was unreal and thanks to the incredible Alex Rinsler , that was a ride and a half mate. This installation brought attracted thousands of people into the city centre and and incredible amount of national and International media coverage lead by Laura Dyson and Siobhan Illidge I love Chinese New Year and its traditions.
